Back in the workforce. And I feel very conflicted. On one hand, its amazing to have a constant income, a W2, and health insurance. I am doing something I am good at, something I enjoy doing, however, the grind back to a 9 to 5 has been a huge adjustment.

Having a year of my time belonging to me and shifting back to having my time belong to a company for at least 8 hours a day....I honestly don't know how I did it for years and years prior to my layoff. And its hard. It's hard having to play the work/life balance again. But its a necessary step for long term goals. It's hard to build a business when your income is unpreditable and there are bills to pay.

Putting a positive spin on this life 180, it is allowing me to reach my long term goals. Its allowing me to have more focused content for this blog. I feel like I have so much more to talk about now than I did when I was not working in corporate. We have surviving work from home, office onsites, work fits...and the list goes on.

So while I am adjusting to my new norm, I am also excited for the content I get to provide you, my reader and follower.
