Medicube - Review of my haul (and what I will and will not be repurchasing)

Ill start this off by saying I do NOT have a partnership with Medicube and I bought these products with my own money and some of them twice. (But hey, Medicube if you see this, hit me up!)

TikTok has turned into a huge market place of people pushing so many different products. With Korean skincare finally getting the recognition it deserves, Medicube ads started popping up all over my FYP page. Having fallen victim many a time to ads, I decided I would save my money because I had a skincare routine that was working so well for me and I wrote a blog about it (although a little pricey).

Fast forward to my sisters wedding. Our makeup artist was complementing my skin and asked if I had tried Medicube. I said no, because it seemed scammy with all the influencers pushing it. She was like no! Its legit! Liv, if youre reading this...thank you. I last got my botox done before that wedding in October and here we are in February and Im not dying to get into. My skin also feels smoother, brighter and my fine lines less pronounced. Making my old "holy grail" products irrelevant.

These are the products I got. I have a brief review and Ive tagged the ones I repurchased in Shop My Beauty....as I feel those are worth your money out the gate!

PDRN Line

Probably the most talked about on TikTok...this is the one with the Salmon Sperm.

PDRN Pink Peptide Serum

Repurchased. Obsessed. To say the least. I use this nightly and sometimes in the morning if I need some extra brightness. This has been a key in my reduced lines/firmer skin.

Hyaluronic Multi-Peptide Serum

Repurchased. This is slept on. I used this every morning to hydrate my skin. This really brings my skin to life. Ive always believed that a good Hyaluronic Acid is key to a good skin care routine. It has so many benefits, hydration, smoothing, helping your other products soak in. Its the holy grail of skin care products.

Exosome Shot PDRN 2000

Will Repurchase. I was scared to try this at first. It's dubbed "micro-needling in a bottle". While I am a micro-needling stan, I had a bad experience the last time I did it. I recently started using this and obviously, starting out small. It does feel like a million little needles going into your skin but I would say its more uncomfortable than hurts. Results are TBD, but my skin feels so much softer in the morning when I use this. So I am starting to believe that it does help your other serums penetrate into your skin.

PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream

Will repurchase. These capsule creams are fun. This is a nice, light everyday moisturizer. I switch between this one and the Vit C capsule cream depending on what I think my skin needs that day. (glow/skin radiance vs hydration)

Triple Collagen Line

Toner

Won't repurchase. I dont have anything bad to say, I just dont reach for it as much. It feels nice on my skin but I feel the PDRN does more than this. I do want to try one of the other toners, but this one was a meh for me.

Triple Collagen Serum

Repurchased. I really like this. Light weight and I can see my face plumping after using this. This is nightly in routine after the PDRN serum.

Triple Collagen Hydrating and Firming Cream

Maybe repurchase. I loved this at first, its super thick and a great night time moisturizer. But I reach for my Jelly moisturizer more often. I found this does not work well in the daytime under makeup either. It has caused pilling and slipping every time. I need to use it at night a few more times before I can really say.

Other Moisturizers

Jelly Cream with Collagen

Will repurchase. I am obsessed with this stuff. I get the best glass glow with this and find it the best cream to use with the device. I know some people say it sits too heavy on their skin and I can see that. But as a dry skin girly, chef's kiss. I also found that pressing the jelly into your skin helps with that heavy feeling, especially when Im too lazy to use the device. I also love that it comes in a big container so bang for your buck. I use this pretty much nightly.

Capsule Cream with Deep Vitamin C

Repurchased. Another obsessed. I use this in the morning rotating between the PDRN capsule cream. To say my skin is radiant and glowing afterward would be an under statement. It has really helped to even out my skin tone and I feel actually comfortable being bare faced with the constant use of this.

Age-R Glutathione Glow Capsule Facial Cream

Still testing this one out. Its smaller capsules which is different than the other capsule creams. TBD on a review of this.

Other Serums

TXA+Niacinamide 15% Glow Facial Serum

I dont know why I purchased this. If your concerns are redness, tone, acne scars give this a try.

Retinol Boosting Serum

Finally using. I am the WORST with retinols. Having sensitive skin and being solar powered, I am scared of getting sunburned. Even though I use sunscreen everyday. But hey, when your mother has survived multiple rounds of skin cancer, these are things you think about constantly. I am trying this on my neck so TBD. But I dont know if it would be any different from the ROC retinol stick or any other non prescription brand.

I hope this helps! Overall I can say my skin has never looked better. And I didnt have to spend $300 on La Mer.

<3 Morgan
