I am a dry skin girly and the cold of winter does NOT help that at all. And what I use in the summer time does NOT work with the winter. And vice versa.

I rotate things in and out as my skin needs it. And I'll talk more about that below!

Here are my winter favorites!

Morning Routine

Cleanser

La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Facial Cleanser

Serums

First Aid Beauty - Hydrating Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

Youth to the People - 15% Vitamin C

Moisturizer

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin

Sunscreen

Colorescience Total Protection No-Show Minearl Sunscreen SPF 50

Night Time

Cleansing Balm

Nu Colour Cleansing Balm (DM me on IG for a link!)

Cleanser

Same from the morning! Its so gentle on my skin and hydrating. Does not strip my skin like most cleansers do.

Serum

Youth to the People - Triple Peptide Hydrating + Firm Oasis Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

Eye Cream

Summer Fridays - Jet Lag Overnight Eye Serum

***This does have a mild retinol blend so dont put additional retinol under your eye or you will get crusty eye bags

Retinol

This has been a game changer for me. Ill put on my peptide serum first, let that dry, then this. Layering helps prevent irratation.

Advanced Clinicals Retinol Boyd Lotion Moistruizer Face & Body Cream

Moisturizer

Youth to the People - Polypeptide -121 Future Firming + Hydrating Moisturizer

Spurlage - La Mer - Creme de la Mer Moisturizer

Save - La Roche Posay - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer

Overnight Masks

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm (dont use this the same night as Retinol, it will aggrivate your skin)

Summer Fridays - Jet Lag Mask + Moisturizer

Take Aways

ALWAYS TAKE YOUR MAKE UP OFF AND WEAR SUNSCREEN!

Peptides are an important add in your skin care routine. There are studies that show they help reduce inflammation, dryness and the signs of aging. I say, anywhere that you can add them to your routine, add them!

Retinol helps turn over that layer of dead skin that makes your look flakey and your make up look terrible. However, dont use it everyday and pay attention to your skin! If you're looking dehydrated or scaley, skip it and use a heavier moisturizer/overnight mask. Then re-introduce it when your skin is feeling better.

Take your skin care down your neck and on the back of your hands! Our neck and hands show the first signs of aging so we want to protect them too. And if youre like me and many of my friends, you have been personally victimized by tech neck. Retinol and then moisturizer has made a HUGE difference for me.
